Gulmi Dajakot fire uncontrolled for five days

A forest fire that has broken out in a jungle nearby Loli of Tikhatar VDC-4 in Doti district for the past five days is still out of control. It is noted that local people’s attempts to bring the forest fire under control have become a failure.

 Locals complained that they did not get help from security agencies including Nepal Army and Nepal Police in their bid to douse the fire despite request to that end. The fire would rage whole forest area if the inferno is not brought under control on time, said Keshab Bam, a local.
