Leprosy (Dull gray scars and skin thickness disease)

The last Sunday of January is celebrated as “Worlds leprosy day” and this is been recently celebrated by the prevention community.

This disease is also taken as result of sin and they doesn’t think to take the precaution but this trend is being changed gradually but the risk of this disease is same. There are many awareness program done against this disease in different risky areas.
On the last year it was found 196 new disease on which 82 were females. This is due to the lack of awareness against this disease. The symptoms of this disease is slowly shown and it is transmitted slowly but this disease brings lots of risk.

What is leprosy?
This bacteria is transmitted through contamination. On this disease the skin problems is seen which is cause due to micro bacteria. This slowly affects the outer nerves of the body and other organs of the body.

Reasons
This happens due to the micro bacteria. This bacteria easily grows through those liquors that comes out when we cough, the drops while we sneeze, those wounds that doesn’t burns.

Transmission days
The symptoms of leprosy can be seen from 2 to 5 years.

Types of leprosy
Leprosy are of two types. They are tuberculoid and the next is multi-bacillary. When tuberculoid the red spots are seen and when multi-bacillary causes skin gets thick and the wound can be seen in different places.

Ways to get transmitted
This can be transmitted by those fluid that comes out from the cough or sneeze of those victims.
It gets transmitted through the wounds of the victims whose dose of medicine is not completed.
– When one person of the family suffers from this problem and if the safety is not adopted than this can be transmitted.

Prevention
– Awareness programs
– Getting treatment soon rather than taking it as a sin.
– You shouldn’t stop using medicine even if the disease is cured.
– The equipment that the victims use should be properly cleaned or sterilized.
