Police raid Tribhuvan International Airport


Police have arrested two women, who were going to Oman for the first time on a re-entry visa, from Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday. Following the arrest of the women, police have raided the Department of Foreign Employment at Tahachal in Kathmandu, suspecting the involvement of government officials as well, accoriding to SSP Sarbendra Nath Khanal of the Metropolitan Police Crime Division.
"The women who were going for foreign employment for the first time had re-entry visa on thier passport," Khanal told Republica Online. "We have, in fact, rescued them. Further investigation is underway." According to Khanal, though the arrested women have valid visa, they do not have work permit.myrepublica
