Social worker Barbara Adams, who suffered a heart attack on Sunday, is currently out of danger and recuperating , doctors said on Tuesday.The 85-year-old was admitted to Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital after she collapsed during a book launch ceremony at Hyatt Regency while in conversation with American Ambassador to Nepal Peter W Bodde.“She is not in immediate danger and needs bed rest for few weeks,” Dr Anil Om Murti said.Paramedics from the US embassy had initially performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or CPR procedure on Adams before rushing her to the hospital as she failed to regain consciousness. A team led by Dr Ajay Thapa had revived her through electric shock procedure called cardioversion.
