Lharkyal Lama's remand extended for three days

Lharkyal Lama remanded for three more days in custody.Lharkyal Lama was arrested on Sunday and sent to five day judicial custody after 14 rounds of bullets were found from his bank locker during a raid conducted .UCPN (Maoist) lawmaker Lharkyal Lama was arrested on the charge of possessing illegal weapons from the capital today. Spokesperson at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Krishna Hari Pushkar said that Lama was arrested after a CIAA team confiscated 14 rounds of bullets from his bank locker at Durbarmarga-based Nepal Investment Bank. Currently, lawmaker Lama is under the CIAA investigation for his alleged involvement in amassing property through illegal channel. He said that 14 bullets were seized, adding that Lama was later handed over to Durbarmarga-based police sector for further investigation into the case.
