(GAESO) President Gurung accused Britain of destroying culture, language and tradition

Gurkha Army Ex-Servicemen's Organisation (GAESO) President Padam Bahadur Gurung accused Britain of destroying culture, language and tradition of Gorkhalis by recruiting them in the British Army. Pointing out the identity crisis of Gurkha in British Army, Gurung said that by recruiting Nepali youths, the servicemen could neither maintain their Nepali identity nor could become British.

 Visiting UK Prince Harry arrived in Bardiya on Monday morning for the sight seeking of Bardiya National Park. After his arrival in the national park, Prince Harry enjoyed a rafting for almost 40 minutes in local Khauriya River. Prince Harry’s rafting ended after reaching Baghauraphant. After concluding his trip to Bardiya, Prince Harry is scheduled to visit Lamjung and Pokhara today and tomorrow where he will take part in a trek in the foothills of the Himalayas and meet with the families of the British Gurkha soldiers. Prince Harry, who is on a five-day-long official visit to Nepal, landed in Kathmandu on March 19 on the occasion of bicentenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the UK.
