A 5 year-old boy murdered after kidnapping in Janakpur

A 5 year-old boy was found dead at his own house premises at Janakpur-19, Bageshipur of the district on Sunday morning. Janakpur also known as Janakpurdham is the administrative and capital city of the Mithila region of Nepal and is one of the historical and religious cities of Nepal being the birthplace of Hindu goddesses Sita .
The Metropolitan Police Office [MPO], Ranipokhari, Kathmandu was established on 01/08/2063 B.S. as the primary law enforcement agency for Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts of the Kathmandu Valley. It has authority to command all the police components located in its area of responsibility. The chief of Metropolitan Police is the Police Commissioner (Additional Inspector General of Police, AIGP) who reports to the Inspector General of Police.
