2013 killing of Nepali Sherpa in Pakistan: Death sentence to convict

Pakistan’s Chief of Army has confirmed death sentence to a man convicted by the country’s military court in the 2013 murder of a Nepali citizen Sona Sherpa and other nine foreign mountaineers in Nanga Parbat.“Today Chief of Army Staff confirmed death sentences awarded to another 13 hardcore terrorists, who were involved in committing heinous offences relating to terrorism, including killing of foreign tourists at Nanga Parbat,” a press release issued by the country’s Inter Services Public Relations said.
